Primitive Camping at Fort Richardson State Park
Take the first road to the left after leaving the Park Headquarters to a parking area. From here it is a shorter easy hike to the camping area. The large fire pit with logs for sitting is a good place for those nighttime stories.
Bring everything you will need for camping including water and sanitary considerations, portable toliets are great for mixed company, and remember to pack it all back out.
